Orion Global Solutions Launches Reforestation Mission
Total Trees Pledged: 10,000The 1t.org US Pledge is the latest in the series in which Orion promotes sustainability. We understand the importance of being conscientious and are committed to growing our involvement in restoring our environment. During the height of COVID-19 we partnered up with One Tree Planted to plant trees in the New York region in honor of New York State’s first responders and healthcare workers.
Orion now pledges to plant 10,000 trees over the next 5 years. We will be partnering with Plant for Planet, National Forest Foundation, and Jewish National Fund- Israel.
In addition to these reforestation commitments, Orion’s initiative includes the continuation of building a ESG and sustainability community. As an impact driven company, community is a part of our core values and as a community it is our responsibility to do our part in preserving mother nature. Another aspect of our initiative is educating our community and clients. This is accomplished through public panels, keynotes, and social media, as well as assisting clients with their carbon footprint management via the implementation and support of the Salesforce Net Zero Cloud platform.
We are proud that we are able to make a lasting impact that will benefit our planet for many years to come.
