1t.org US Inaugural Summit Report: A Summary of Key Findings
The inaugural summit of the 1t.org US Chapter took place in Washington, D.C. on June 22–24, 2022. This was an opportunity to bring together leaders in the United States who are actively furthering the 1t.org goal to conserve, restore, and grow one trillion trees globally by 2030. The event was attended by over 140 participants from the 1t.org US community. Corporate, non-profit, governmental, and community leaders presented their bold plans for scaling private and public ambition. Analysis of summit outcomes informed the development of Nine Key Strategies that will be leveraged in the coming year to increase action and raise ambition toward meeting the 1t.org US goal.
